FMD 597D: Fashion in Asia

Summer 2018 I was fortunate enough to attend a study abroad course within the Fashion Merchandising and Design department at CMU. I was joined by 5 other students to spend 10 days in Seoul, South Korea and Hong Kong.

In Seoul we visited fashion centered corporations such as Li & Fung and Hyundai Home Shopping, as well as Seoul National University.

In Hong Kong, the group was able to visit a Sears testing and sourcing facility as well as Shin Se Gae International and Hong Kong Polytech University.

This experience was an absolutely amazing opportunity and my future plans include returning to Seoul and potentially expanding my career search internationally.
